God’s grace is all about His love for the world and what He has provided for you in Jesus Christ. At Grace Christian Church we have returned to the heart of God’s grace. We’ve cut the trappings of modern religion that can get in the way of experiencing God’s goodness. One of the wonderful features of Grace Christian is that it's a church where the grace of God is the leading operational principle. The grace of God speaks of all that God has given to us in Jesus Christ, both for eternity and for the here and now.  The New Testament is saturated with the teaching of God’s love and grace as the means and motive for Christian living.  Therefore, Grace Christian was started with grace as its operational core principle (Colossians 3:1-5; Romans 12:1-2).

The benefits to you of a grace-centered church are numerous.   In a grace-centered church people learn not only how to be forgiven by God through grace but also who they are in Jesus Christ (II Corinthians 5:17).  They learn to see themselves as God sees them in Christ (Ephesians 1:3-14).  They learn to live, not from religious duty, but out of a love relationship for Jesus (I John 5:1-3).   In a grace-centered church there is love and acceptance for each other (Romans 15:7).  It is impossible to love and accept others until we experience God’s love and acceptance by grace (I John 4:19).  Finally, in a grace-centered church there is joy.  God is not seen as an angry God who is displeased with us but as our Father who has made us His children, not because we are good enough or deserve it, but because of the work of Jesus in our lives.  (Galatians 4:3-7).

"I love Grace Christian Church for the friendship..."

Another wonderful feature of Grace Christian is that it's a Church that follows the simple plan for operation, as outlined in the New Testament The New Testament Church had a simple and effective structure. Believers met in large groups for worship and small home groups for care, prayer, encouragement, fellowship and discipleship (Acts 2:46; 5:48; 20:20). The church was overseen by loving elders, serving deacons, and a body of believers who ministered to one and other. The New Testament speaks nothing about forming committees to run the church, nor does it mention numerous programs competing for time, money and energy. The New Testament church was NOT program run; rather it was relationally based. Grace Church operates with this simple New Testament structure. We use large group celebration on Sunday for worship and small home cell groups throughout the week. You can read more about this New Testament approach in other pages of our site. The results of this approach to ministry are many. The New Testament church functions in a concise and effective way that produces joy and develops maturity in your life. The family is not further divided, schedules aren’t unduly complicated, and real growth in each life occurs!

When people ask me for a description of Grace Christian Church I share that Grace Church is a place where you can experience the life of Jesus Christ two ways.  First, by God’s grace, you can experience Jesus individually as your Savior, Lord and Life.  By grace Jesus will be real and personal to you, living His very life through you.  Secondly, through our small cell groups you will experience the life of Christ.  In your cell group the very person of Christ is lived out and experienced.  As each believer allows Jesus to live through them, extending His life and love to others, the very life of Jesus Christ is experienced.
