Kids Church

                                    Our Mission

     At Grace Christian Church, children are precious to us and we are dedicated to teaching children the Good News of Jesus Christ!  We believe it is important that a child is taught about the Word of God on his own level of understanding and has fun doing so!  We are also called to pray for and encourage your child as we lead him or her toward the Truth.  It is our hope that, as your child progresses to the next grade level, he will gain a deeper understanding of Bible truth and seek a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

       

                                      Our Plan

     We have a comprehensive curriculum that is not only foundational, but also fun, experiential, and culturally relevant.  Using the acclaimed Gospel Light curriculum, our three year plan for Kid’s Church will teach your children about who God is, How He loves us and How to live like Jesus.  Your child will also progress toward a Biblical survey that will familiarize them with the books of the Bible and the people in them and learn to impart God’s Word into their lives.  By the end of the third year, the Disciple Makers curriculum will help your kid become powerful and effective disciples.

 

This curriculum will encourage your child to explore relating to God through prayer, His Word and worship.  Watch them discover more about themselves as they see how they are made in God’s image and respond with thoughts and actions that please Jesus.  Kids will be challenged to live God’s purpose in their lives by living differently and becoming agents of change in a world that so needs Jesus.

     Grace Christian’s Kids Church will be conducted during the sermon portion of the celebration service.  For      children under age 4, we have a supervised nursery.

   

     

 

Our Staff

The Children's Church volunteer staff strives to present solid, fun, encouraging lessons that will aid all of our children in bearing fruit. Our staff attends training seminars where new methods of teaching are explored, knowledge is shared, synergy is developed and support is given. Their continuing efforts are what makes our Children's Church an outstanding place to plant the seeds and lead our children down a path in which they happily walk with the Lord.
